JURY SESSION 2011

The international jury met in Písek on July 18, 2011 to review a record number of 942 drawings from 281 cartoonist of 57 countries and 5 continents. Collections for the exhibition and the catalogue were chosen. Then for the final round the jury selected 20 cartoons which were evaluated by local method of pouring sand with following results:

1st place: Leslie Ricciardi, Spain 407 g

2nd place: Ross Thomson, Great Britain 378 g

3rd place: Slawomir Luczynski, Poland 349 g

4th place: Seyran Caferli, Azerbaidjan 296 g

5th place: Raul Fernando Zuleta, Colombia 284 g

Further finalists were placed according to amount of sand poured by the jury as follows:
